Here’s what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you won’t be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense his grace. Matt. 6:6 MSG
Prayer is a unique and divine privilege God has given you as His child. It offers you the opportunity to seek a deeper, closer, and more constant communion with your Creator and Heavenly Father.
Therefore, when you pray either publicly in the assembly of other saints at the church worship services or privately in your closet, you should not pray to show off as to be seen and to be applauded by men when they hear you. You are to pray with all your heart and soul thirsty after God, the living God to find rest for your soul.
Though there is a place for public prayer, especially in our church meetings, we should be a people of prayer, with most of it “done in secret. ” We believe in the power of God to answer our prayers, hearing them even when no one else does.
May the Lord help you to always find time to pray and pray according to His will. Amen.
Good morning !
